Howl-O-Week at Baja Bean Co. October 26, 2009

Please join the Richmond SPCA and Baja Bean Co. for a full week of Howl-O-Week happenings to benefit orphaned dogs and cats.

Every day between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. from October 25 to 31 pets will be welcome on the patio, and every guest with a pet will have 10% of their bill donated to the Richmond SPCA. Howl-O-Week t-shirts will also be available for sale!

In addition, Baja Bean Co. will be hosting the following fun events:

Sunday, October 25 - The first 50 customers to dine with their pet on the patio will receive a Richmond SPCA totebag and special goodies from Baja Bean. Also, pet costume contest with prizes! Times TBA.

Monday, October 26 - Poker Tournaments at 6 and 8 p.m.

Tuesday, October 27 - Pet Food Drive - receive 1 free taco for every 2 pounds of pet food donated; DJ Ghozt from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.; taco challenge!

Wednesday, October 28 - Jack-O-Lantern ArtCarve contest from 7 to 10 p.m. and Richmond SPCA guest bartending (10% goes to charity) also from 7 to 10 p.m. No need to pre-register for the Jack-O-Lantern carving, but earlier arrivers get first pick of the pumpkins. $10 to enter, which includes a pumpkin to carve that you can take home after the event if you choose.

Thursday, October 29 - Corn-Hole Tourney at 10 p.m. and 12 a.m.

Friday, October 30 - Costumed Karaoke at 10 p.m. Head on over to Baja Bean after Cat Tales & Cocktails for some karaoke fun! 10% of proceeds from "costumed customers" in the Back Bar will benefit the Richmond SPCA.

Saturday, October 31 - Costume Contest (for people) - over $1,000 in prizes! Corporate Orange live in the Back Bar.

Baja Bean Co. Patio Rules: Guests with pets, please be courteous to our hosts and to your fellow guests on the patio by abiding by these guidelines:

* Please take your dog for a potty break before entering, and be sure to clean up after your pal.
* Please maintain control of your leashed dog at all times.
* If your four-legged friend is having a bad day and becomes unfriendly with other pets or people please excuse yourselves and come back for a visit another time.
