Leonardo is possibly the most amazing thinker of all time. The breadth and depth of his expertise is comparable to none. Would you like to explore how his mind works and see if it is possible to develop these approaches in your own thinking? During this course we will explore the seven "da Vincian" dispositions that promote curiosity, creativity, insight and balance that can be applied to formal learning and richer living. Participants will complete self-assessments in each of the dispositions and then a range of open-ended tasks that require personal reflection and imagination based on materials from the book of the same name by Michael Gelb. The course will develop self-awareness and confidence to consider experiences from a range of perspectives. No previous experience with da Vinci's approach to thinking is required however, for those who have been introduced to either the master himself or his approach to thinking, this will be a great opportunity to explore the ideas more deeply and play with notions of relevance to everyday experiences. This course is suitable for students in Years 3 to 4. Details of this event may be subject to change. Please visit http://cce.sydney.edu.au/course/htld for more information or to register.
