Noted Hoosier photographer and author, John Bower of Bloomington, will offer a captivating, fun, and fast-paced slide presentation at the Pendleton Community Library, 595 East Water Street on Saturday, March 10th. at 10:00 a.m.

Bower will use the slides to illustrate how anyone can take better photographs by using simple techniques. He will cover the things any of us can do to improve composition by using easy-to-understand design elements when looking through a viewfinder. He will also demonstrate how capturing your subject working, playing, or interacting will create a far more interesting picture than a simple pose.

John Bower is a well-respected, popular photographer with a passion for capturing little-known aspects of his subjects. He is the author of three popular photography books, and he has been awarded two individual Artist Grants from the Indiana Arts Commission.

An author's reception and book signing will be offered following the presentation.
