How to Start a Blog – and Why?
Free and Open Tutorial for Everyone in Oxford
Come and join our hands-on tutorial for anyone who wants to start a blog. Community organizers, local
activists, businesspeople, politicians, schoolchildren, students – everyone is welcome to get together for
an afternoon with experts from the Oxford Internet Institute. Learn basic technical skills and discuss the
many issues novice bloggers face, like developing a focus, finding a voice, or reaching an audience.
Concerns about privacy and security will also be addressed.
When: 4-6pm on Monday, September 22, 2008
