How to Preserve Wild Plants at Home January 25, 2012

This indoor workshop will show you the different techniques used to preserve indoor flowers, leaves, fruits, seeds and bark from different natural habitats. These techniques would be easy enough to be used at home as a learning tool for keen botanists or for the general wildlife lover that wants to learn a bit more.
The course will start with a brief illustrated talk about herbariums in botanical gardens and universities and then move on to hands-on herbaria making.
