The COBRA webinar will discuss topics including COBRA administration, qualifying events, notice and disclosure regulations, and some common COBRA administrative mistakes. Power point presentation slides will be provided and EBSA benefits advisors will be available to address specific questions.

About the Presenters
Dania Kanafani is a Benefits Advisor with the United States Department of Labor, Employee Benefits Security Administration. She has been with the agency for over 10 years. Ms. Kanafani conducts presentations on ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and pension plans to participants, beneficiaries as well as plan sponsors and fiduciaries.

David Stonebraker has been with the U. S. Department of Labor's Employee Benefits Security Administration since 1995. He began his career as an Investigator and promoted to Senior Investigator in 2000. His duties included conducting complex civil and criminal investigations into violations of ERISA. He was promoted again in 2005 to Regional Criminal Coordinator to manage the region's criminal enforcement program and cases as well as providing criminal trial support for the U.S. Department of Justice covering the seven northwestern states. His most recent duties as a Benefits Advisor include providing advice to plan sponsors, fiduciaries, service providers, participants, and beneficiaries. Mr. Stonebraker has also been with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
