Houston Symphony: Music of Star Trek & More Sci-Fi July 9, 2009

For this concert, Associate Conductor Robert Franz and the Houston Symphony explore the music of sci-fi favorites including '2001: A Space Odyssey,' 'Battlestar Galactica' and the 'Star Trek' franchise. You'll hear the original 'Star Trek' television theme, Emmy Award-winning music from 'Star Trek: Voyager' and music from the newest addition to the saga - this year's film, 'Star Trek.' You are invited to arrive dressed as your favorite character to participate in the Symphony's costume contest.
