Minnesota artist Artist Megan McCready invites you to compete in Hotdish Philly

Enjoy tasty comfort food, good company and conversation served up midwestern potluck style.

Bring along a Hotdish to pass, try a traditional recipe or perhaps concoct something fancy and new. Compete for Best Classic Hotdish or Best Neo-classic Hotdish. Awards and bragging rights will be given for both categories. Be sure to include a starch, protein, vegetable, saucy binder and something crunchy on top!

Not into cooking savory dishes? Bring a pan of bars to share; everyone needs a little sweet to top off their night!

Be sure to sign-in your dish when you arrive, an undercover judge will circulate and determine the best dishes. You’ll have the opportunity to learn a little Hotdish history as well as check out authentic Hotdish paraphernalia. Plates, dinnerware, beverages and a microwave will be provided.
