Hot Rod Magazine 65th Anniversary Car Show March 23, 2013

HOT ROD celebrates its 65th anniversary in 2013, and to kick it off, we’re planning the HOT ROD Homecoming!

The HOT ROD Homecoming is all about bringing those 65 years of feature cars together for one big party. The indoor show space at the Homecoming will be filled with cars—or even trucks, boats, and bikes—that have been featured in the magazine, and we hope to be able to display them in chronological order from 1948 until now.

While the whereabouts of many former HOT ROD cars are well known, there are hundreds more that have lost the spotlight. At the Homecoming, any vehicle that has appeared on any page of HOT ROD is welcome. It does not matter if the car looks like it did when it was in the magazine or not; all that matters is the provenance. The entry fee for HOT ROD feature cars will include a package of collectibles that will only be available at this 65th anniversary event. Cars that have not been featured in the mag are also welcome, though they will be displayed in outdoor space.
