Hot Air Balloon Rides December 4, 2009

Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden is raffling off a brand-new Subaru (drawing is Dec. 31) with proceeds supporting the Garden’s educational mission. Tickets are only $10 each.

THIS FRIDAY, DEC. 4: The first 100 raffle tickets purchased (starting at 4:30 p.m.) include the opportunity to ride in a hot air balloon (weather permitting). The hot air balloon will be tethered behind the Conservatory and will rise to the height of the Conservatory dome -- offering a spectacular view of the lights.

How it works: Come to the Information and Will Call table in the Visitors Center atrium. Purchase your raffle ticket/s and receive one voucher for every ticket purchased. The voucher entitles the bearer to one free balloon ride. Rides will be from 5 – 6:45 p.m
