Hospice Volunteer Training May 27, 2009

Hospice Volunteer Training - Orientation - Wednesday 5/27 9:30 - 1:30. Patient & Family Support Training - Wednesday 6/3 - Wednesday 6/24 9:30-1:30 PM. If you are interested in learning more about being a Hospice Volunteer, this basic four hour training program is your starting point. After attending this training - you will have a better understanding of hospice care and the Hospice’s role in the community. You will also learn of the wide variety of volunteer opportunities available. VOLUNTEERS MUST COMPLETE THE ORIENTATION BEFORE ATTENDING THE SPECIALIZED TRAINING PROGRAMS.
If you’d like to work directly with hospice patients and their families - providing support and companionship, this training will help you feel confident and well prepared for that role.
