Hops For Hope An Easter Benefit for Midwest Rabbit Rescue April 16, 2011

Our fifth annual Hops For Hope will take place on April 16, 2011 from 1pm to 4pm at the Corner Brewery in Ypsilanti.

Tickets are $20 and include a beer tasting from 2-4pm, a fabulous handmade chocolate tasting, coffee and a scrumptious appetizer buffet with both (new this year!) traditional and vegetarian selections. Non drinking tickets are $10, and children 12 & under are free! Tickets will not be sold at the door.

Our silent auction centers around the www.makeminechocolate.com campaign, which seeks to break the cycle of acquisition and relinquishment by educating the public about the responsibilities involved in keeping a companion rabbit before a rabbit is brought home. This year we have sought out chocolates from small, independent chocolatiers, as well as big well-known companies and the result is an amazing and eclectic mix of organic, fair trade and hand-made chocolates!

All proceeds benefit the 200+ rabbits that we rescue each year.
