Honoring Dr. King: An evening with Taylor Branch and the All Souls Choir January 26, 2006

Celebration in word and song at All Souls Church on Thursday, January 26, 2006, at 7 p.m. That's when we'll welcome back a former All Souls member -- author Taylor Branch -- who will read from and sign copies of At Canaan's Edge, the third and final volume of his Pulitzer-prize winning biography of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The first volume of the trilogy, Parting the Waters, was a nationwide bestseller, and was dedicated to the choir of All Souls Church. The choir will join Mr. Branch in remembering Dr. King's life and ministry.
