In this four quarter unit course, students are taught the theoretical models and applications for planning and implementing collaborative school partnerships with teachers, families, paraprofessionals, related services personnel, and outside agencies for students with disabilities. Topics like case management policies and practices, transition planning in special education across the lifespan are also discussed. Course completion requires five hours of fieldwork. Upon successful completion of the course, students can petition to transfer credit to the credential or MA programs for Education with their transcript showing four quarter units and a letter grade.
