Homeschool Programs at Broad Meadow Brook -- Skull Detectives February 10, 2011

Broad Meadow Brook's homeschool programs offer a friendly, cooperative learning environment for people of all ages! Our homeschool programs are designed for the homeschooling family. Parents are welcome to attend, but students may stay on their own if a medical form is on file with the sanctuary. - - Advance registration is required by calling (508) 753-6087. At the end of all programs, students will receive follow-up information and activities so the learning can continue at home. - Program fees for each participating child are $8 Mass Audubon member / $12 non-Mass Audubon member. - - We look forward to learning with you! - - Skull Detectives - Thursday, February 10, 1-3pm - Ages 8-13 - Instructors: Martha Gach and Lisa Mattson - - Skulls can teach us a lot about an animal. Was it a carnivore or an herbivore? An adult or a youngster? What species of animal did this skull come from? Learn how to identify skulls and discover characteristics of different groups of animals. We'll have lots of skulls to observe and compare, or bring some from home if you have them. Registration is required. Call 508-753-6087 for details.
