Home Grown: Recent Paintings by Charlotte Seifert & Kyle Ragsdale October 17, 2009

Home Grown opens on Saturday, October 17 with an artists' reception from 6:00-8:00pm and continues through November 7 during gallery hours. In this recent body of work, Charlotte Seifert continues to explore organic themes, but in a new way, breaking down large shapes into smaller fractions, a metaphor for how relationships work. Always keeping in mind core ideas of community and relationship, Kyle Ragsdale's work tries to suggest a connection among figures without defining that connection.
