Toronto's lo-fi, improvisational electronica band with the eight-letter name uses live instrumentation and miscellaneous instruments and non-instruments (including toy keyboards and toy phaser guns) to achieve what Pitchfork Media calls "the equivalent of modern electronic music without actually using the techniques (looping, splicing, programming) of that music." The band will open for M.I.A. (featuring DJ Low-B) in Brooklyn's (empty) McCarren Pool.
