Fort Harrison State Park will host the first annual "Hollywood at War" film series beginning Sunday, February 22 with the movie and discussion "War Through Humor", a look at how Hollywood has used humor in the war movie genre.

Each discussion will feature a major Hollywood war movie followed by a round-table talk based on intangible themes common to our society. Each film and discussion will be held at the Fort Harrison State Park Visitor Center and begin at 1p, followed by a 20 minute discussion after the film.

The first movie and discussion will be held on Sunday, February 22 based on the theme "War Through Humor". The second movie and discussion will be held on Sunday, April 5th based on the theme "War And Escape". The third movie and discussion will be held on Sunday, June 14th based on the theme "War Through Music". The fourth movie and discussion will be held on Sunday, August 16th based on the topic "War and Reality; Bad War Movies". The fifth and final movie and discussion will be held on Sunday, October 11th based on the topic "War on the Water".

This event is free to the public, but the standard park admission of $5/in-state vehicle and $7/out-of-state vehicle still applies. For more information, please call the Visitor Center at 317-591-0122, Wednesday - Sunday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
