Widely known as a collaborator on The White Stripes record Elephant,
Holly Golightly has a rich provenance that stretches backs to 1991 when she was the founder member of Thee Headcoatees-a Billy Childish splinter group with Billy penning all the songs. From 1995 Holly embarked on a solo career that moved away from the three chord garage rock of Thee Headcoatees towards pre-rock electric blues and folk. Taking her cue from Billy, Holly has very prolific recording output currently clocking up 13 album releases mostly recorded with Liam Watson from the world renowned Toe-Rag Studios in East London. In addition to The White Stripes collaboration Holly has also played and sung with Mudhoney, Rocket From The Crypt, The Greehornes, Sexton Ming and of course Billy Childish.
