Although Atlanta, GA seems to be pushing itself to the forefront of the rap and hip-hop upsurge, bands like Holiday Parade are helping the city to establish a valid reputation amongst rock and pop music audiences alike.

With an overwhelming response on websites like MySpace.com, Purevolume.com, and SmartPunk.com, Holiday Parade has had the opportunity to land a four-week summer tour, and various dates on this year’s Vans Warped Tour. Overall, one can’t help but notice the band’s belief in positivism; their music speaks for itself. With their unique, polished sound and their "boys next-door" image, My Favorite Highway have quickly captured the heart of their local scene in Fairfax, Va. Their eleven track full-length is scheduled to be released on July 22, 2008 and features ten brand new tracks and one old song. Once the record is released the band plans to tour full-time until they conquer the world, take over the FM radio waves and win a Grammy. with designs to do the same throughout the rest of the country.
