FOR IMMEDIATE PRESS RELEASE
What better way to bring in 2008 than by creating a revolution of good?
Real Live People Party and Save 1 Person have joined forces to host the first annual "Save 1 Person, Save the World 2007 Benefit” on December 22, 2007.
Save 1 Person, a non-profit foundation borne out of global kindness, launched nationally in 2002, utilizes national and local media as communication channels save lives “1 person at a time.” Through official “News Break Alerts” donated by national and local news affiliates, Save 1 Person features one individual each week needing urgent help.
Unlike other national charities, Save 1 Person focuses on one individual, and their specific needs, at a time. A “News Break Alert” seeks to save one person by directly appealing to the local community for potential and relevant assistance. For example, an Alert may feature a young girl dying of Leukemia who requires a specific bone marrow match to save her, or, an orphan in foster care needing care and support during the holidays. Most recently, Hershey Fellig of California, dying of kidney failure, was featured on a Save 1 Person News Break Alert; when Marisa Hester of Alabama read the News Break and she decided to become a living kidney donor and saved Fellig’s life.

"Our campaign will show the world how one act of kindness leads to another and then to another," says Foundation founder, Lauren Finkelstein. "Save 1 Person, Save the World" was created in 2002 by Finkelstein, a former TV producer who drew her inspiration from her own near-death experience and also from her spiritual mentor, Simon Jacobson of the Meaningful Life Center, a non-sectarian, non-denominational center for spiritual growth; its initial sponsor of the Foundation. The Save 1 Person campaign is being received with unprecedented enthusiasm. "We can hardly keep up with the progress and demands upon us," said Finkelstein.

Real Live People Party, an organization dedicated to connecting singles has joined forces with Save 1 Person to create the first annual 2007 Save 1 Person, Save The World Fundraiser during the 2007 holiday season. Real Live People Party runs New York City best social networking parties, events, trips and vacations. RLPP encourages people to meet in person to develop relationships, friendships and business contacts. Most Real Live People Party events are interactive to ensure people make new connections, with on-site hosts facilitating personal introductions.
Ms. Ilana Eberson founder of Real Live People Party says "The whole concept is, 'Disconnect from the Internet, Reconnect with Real Live People' because we all agree it's time to go back to meeting real people, face-to-face."
