The Community as One Foundation is hosting, HOLD”EM FOR HAITI at The Normandie Casino on Sat. November 13, 2010.

Hold’em for Haiti is a No Limit Hold'Em Tournament/ challenge that will aid in the rebuilding of an Orphanage in the village of Petite Goave Haiti.

The Name of orphanage that the Community as One Foundation is committed to raising funds for is “Enfant Dans Le Desert D'Haiti" orphanage.

There are 45-50 homeless orphans ages 2-11 in the care or the orphanage director/ keeper, Marie Solange. These innocent children have seen very little in terms of relief since the devastating quake that nearly wiped out there whole village.

It has been 10 months since the deadly quake and these poor children are still sleeping on the cold wet ground in rows of small flimsy tents. These children live lives that most of us, and our children could never imagine, they have no real roof over there heads, no clean place to use the restroom or bathe, and many times don’t even know where their next meal is coming from and yet somehow they are still grateful for life! Everything that these children have ever known is either lost or dead, except for their hope.

The Buy in for the Tournament is only $100.00 with an optional $50.00 add on at the end of the first hour.

Also for your convenience you will be allowed $25.00 re-buys if you fall below a certain chip level (FIRST HOUR ONLY!!) optional.

So for less than the cost of a pair of name brand tennis shoes you can aid in the gift of a home, shelter, safety and stability to 45-50 young lives that did not ask for the hand that they have been dealt and at the same time have a little fun on a Saturday afternoon.

There will be bounties placed on celebrities and staff member players that will reward special prizes for those players that can knock the bounty players out of the tournament. When: November 13, 2010,
