Singer/songwriter Holcombe Waller returns to San Francisco for a one-evening engagement, a perfect date for songs of intimacy, courage, and stunning virtuosity.
Holcombe Waller is an SF- ex pat now living in Portland, Oregon. His 2011 album, Into the Dark Unknown, won praise and attention from NPR, PASTE, and the New York Times. He was featured in August as a “Pick of the Week” download in all Starbucks cafes.
Waller has a rich history with San Francisco having collaborated with Joe Goode Performance Group, performed in Marc Bamuthi Joseph’s Left Coast Learning Festival at YBCA. His engagement at Cyprian’s on November 19th coincides with the release of the stunning new music video for his Buffy Sainte-Marie cover, “Qu’Appelle Valley, Saskatchewan.”
