CELEBRATING HOCKEY DAY IN MICHIGAN

The Michigan hockey community will be displayed and celebrated with a multi-media presentation hosted by Raymond Rolak. At the Westland Public Library on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.
Metro Detroit has a rich hockey tradition and Hockey Weekend Across America will showcase events throughout the state starting on Friday, February 15th through Sunday, February 17th.
Rolak, a veteran broadcaster, player and hockey administrator will share some of the lost-to-history stories that were pioneered in Detroit.
Gain the surprise knowledge of who won the first Big Ten Conference Ice Hockey Championship and what Detroiters had an association to the 1960 and 1980 Gold Medal winning U.S. Olympic teams?
Come enjoy this sixth annual Hockey Day in Michigan spearheaded by the Central Collegiate Hockey Association and nationally by USA Hockey. You are invited to wear your favorite hockey jersey.
