Hockey Day in Atlanta March 5, 2011

The challenge has been thrown down by our American brethren in the local adult amateur hockey league in order to exact some sort of revenge for the loss at the hands of our Canadian boys in Vancouver a year ago.

A team of the top local amateur USA players will take on a team of local amateur Canadians in a Charity event at Philips Arena at 1pm on March 5th, later that day the Thrashers play at 7pm against the Florida Panthers.

We need fans out to support the Canadian team as I have already been told that Team USA will be bringing a lot of folks.

One ticket will give you entry to the Team Canada vs. Team USA game (General Admission) and later into the Thrasher game. We are also planning a tailgate celebration with street hockey outside of Philips post challenge game and pre Thrasher game. $5 from each ticket sold goes to the AAHL foundation.
