Hlif Sigurjonsdottir, Violinist January 15, 2011

Internationally-renowned Icelandic violin virtuoso Hlif Sigurjonsdottir will perform J.S. Bach's solo Violin Sonata No. 2 in a minor, BWV 1003, Sonata No. 3 in C major, BWV 1005 and Partita No. 1 in b minor, BWV 1002. With this concert and a previous one last January, Ms. Sigurjjonsdottir will have performed all three sonatas and three partitas by J.S. Bach in New York. She will also present the American Premiere of contemporary American composer Merrill Clark's Prelude from 'Sigurjonsdottir' Sonata, 'The Sorceress.'
