Hindustani Ragas – The Concept of Time and Season October 6, 2008

A lecture demonstration presented by Ms Vijay Bazaz Razdan With Utpola Borah (vocal); and Deepika Chopra (sitar).
The demonstration will start with a recital of some examples of Ragas of Time cycle, i.e. Raga Ahir Bhairav, Raga Todi, Raga Brindabani Sarang, Raga Bhimpalasi, Raga Yaman, and Raga Darbari Kananda. This will be followed with evening ragas. Contact: 24619431.
