Take a stroll down memory lane and see what's on the horizon as we Celebrate the Past and Embrace the Future at the fourth annual Hilberry Theatre Open House on Saturday, March 7 from 12-3:30P.M.

Experience one of the country's most prestigious rotating repertory theatre programs on the campus of Wayne State University. Enjoy dessert items, a tour of the theatre, and, beginning at 2 p.m., a preview performance of the Hilberry's exciting 2009-2010 season by the acting company. Come and support the graduate students who are continuing the Hilberry Theatre Company's long tradition of excellence.

The Hilberry's 2009-2010 season includes: The Fantasticks, with music by Harvey Schmidy and lyrics by Tom Jones; A Midsummer Night's Dream, by William Shakespeare; The Seagull, by Anton Chekhov; Good, by C. P. Taylor; and The Beaux Stratagem, by George Farquhar. This all-encompassing mix of musical, comedy and drama is sure to please every theatregoer.

The 2009-2010 Open House will be held at the Hilberry Theatre, located at the corner of Cass and Hancock, on Saturday, March 7, 2009. The Open House begins at 12:00 noon, with the 45-minute preview performance beginning at 2 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public. Every person who walks in the door will receive a Buy-One-Get-One-Free coupon for any performance remaining in this year's (2008-2009) season.
