700 Columbia Street
Shreveport, Louisiana 71104

Be a part of a special happening each November in Shreveport's famed Columbia Park. The best local and national musicians converge on the Highland Jazz and Blues Festival for Shreveport's own "party in the park”, but when you attend, you'll see more than just great music. Our Artist's Alley is filled with one-of-a-kind jewelry, paintings, home decor, jams and jellies and more. When your stomach tells you it's time to take a short break from the party, you'll find fresh ground coffees, and such offerings as Cajun jambalaya, Caribbean jerk chicken, funnel cakes and all sorts of other tempting treats. The Highland Jazz and Blues festival, in its seventh musical year, could not do all they do without the significant help of the City of Shreveport and the Shreveport Regional Arts Council. Unlike other festivals in the region and state, keeps this festival FREE, which is no small feat. Imagine. SIX non-stop hours of jazz and blues greats on TWO stages, ALL for free. It boggles the mind.
