High Acres Landfill gas to electricity facility tour August 9, 2006

Tour the High Acres Landfill, site of an existing 3.2 megawatt waste gas to electricity generating facility. A proposed expansion brings it to 9.6 megawatts. Adjacent to the Erie Canal Trail, a 2 mile bike ride from Fairport gets you there.
