Hide and Seek: Picturing Childhood February 18, 2010

Since photography's inception in 1839, children have been popular subjects for the camera. Pictures of children often serve as collective memories of childhood itself, a phase of life to which one can never return. This exhibition explores the fascination with childhood as it has been portrayed throughout photography's history.
