Hidden Art of Sybil and Her Other Selves: Shirley A Mason June 16, 2011

These hidden paintings were found in a locked closet in the Lexington, KY home that Shirley Mason lived in at the time of her death in 1998. The artwork is dated from 1943, before she began working with Dr. Wilbur, until 1965, the year she successfully integrated the 'personalities.' Shirley, an artist, did not sign work she did not recognize; the hidden paintings are believed to be ones she found on her easel done by her 'other selves.'
