HH Karma Kuchen Rinpoche
Weekend of October 17 ? 18
Kunzang Palyul Choling and Palyul Changchub Dargyeling - DC Center will host His Holiness Karma Kuchen Rinpoche, the 12th Throne Holder of the Palyul Lineage. His Holiness Karma Kuchen Rinpoche is the Dharma Heir of His Holiness Drubwang Penor Rinpoche, who passed in March. Prior to that time, Karma Kuchen Rinpoche held full responsibility for the Palyul Mother Monastery in Tibet and for all of its branches.
His Holiness will be conferring the following empowerments and teachings at Kunzang Palyul Choling:
Saturday, October 17th at 10 am: Guru Rinpoche Empowerment
Saturday, October 17th at 2 pm: Vajrakilaya and Dorje Phagmo Empowerments
Sunday, October 18th at 10 am: Teaching on the Nature of the Dakini (Female Wisdom Being) by Khenpo Norgay
Sunday, October 18th at 2 pm: Long Life Empowerment (by donation at the Temple)
The Long Life Empowerment starts at 2:00 pm, and we suggest people arrive by 1:30 pm -- KPC is hosting this empowerment on behalf of the Tibetan community, who requested this specific empowerment. As a special courtesy, we will reserve seating for the Tibetan community in the main room, if they arrive by 1:30 pm. People who arrive late may need to be seated in the overflow room.
