An indie-electro trio from Chicago, Hey Champ became well known around the city for their pop savvy and production expertise. In 2008 they did a national tour opening for Lupe Fiasco. In 2009 they released their first single 'Cold Dust Girl' off their first album and gained stature in the rock and dance communities. They have performed with the likes of Kid Sister and The Bloody Beetroots.
