Heritage walk - Turkman Gate August 15, 2009

Heritage walk to Turkman Gate by Walk Delhi, an Itihaas initiative. A mind- blowing experience of Old Delhi. Especially curated to give a glimpse into rare aspects of the cities life. On the 15th of August, kite flying is almost like a festival within the walls. The children will love it. See one of the oldest mosques of the city and pass through the intricate fabric of lanes to see Raziya Sultans tomb. Experience thetraditional sport of Kabootarbazi. What time to reach: Please reach the Holy Trinity church at Turkman gate at 6.45pm.( Map below ) Where to park: There is parking just opposite the Turkman gate area.
