Heritage Junction Tour July 16, 2011

* Heritage Junction, home to 19th century Saugus Railroad Station and many historical buildings from old Newhall is also located in Hart Park. Tours of the train station are given by the Santa Clarita Valley Historical Society. Hours: 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays. * 1900 Mogul Engine #1629, a class M4 train, weighing 75 tons. * Six other historic building have been moved to Heritage Junction. From the six pew 1927 Ramona Chapel to the 1860 Mitchell House Adobe. All in various stages of restoration.
