Here and Now: Labor Day Music Festival August 29, 2008

Here and Now celebrates Bargemusic's 30th Anniversary with a program of commissioned works. The Voxare Quartet, flutist Lance Suzuki, violinists Mark Peskanov and Colin Jacobsen, cellists Eric Jacobsen and Felix Fan are joined by pianists Dick Hyman and Doris Stevenson. The program features the World Premiere of Russell Platt's 'Duet for Violin and Cello (2008),' Dick Hyman's Piano Trio (2007), Behzad Ranjbaran '"Fountains of Fin" for Flute, Violin and Cello (2008)' and Daniel Ott's '"Blue Water" for Violin, Piano and String Quartet (2008).'
