Herb Ohta Jr., son of Ukelele Hall of Fame inductee Ohta-San, discovered early on that Hawaiian music is in his blood and the ukelele in his genes. Although reminiscent of his father's, Herb's style is distinct and recognizable as his own. As a teacher, composer, recording artist and producer, Herb shares the beauty of Hawaii's music, it's culture, and the wonders of the ukelele all over the world. A seven-time Na Hoku Hanohano Award Nominee and a two-time Hawaii Music Award Winner, Herb has 2 national releases in Japan and co-authored two ukelele instructional books with Grammy Award-winning artist Daniel Ho.
