Helsinki Toastmasters Meeting February 14, 2008

Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that operates clubs worldwide for the purpose of helping members improve their communication, public speaking and leadership skills. Through its member clubs, Toastmasters International helps men and women learn the arts of speaking, listening, and thinking.

Helsinki Toastmasters is the local Toastmasters club. Club meetings are workshops where you study and practice communication and leadership skills with others who are there for the same reasons as you. You develop your speaking skills by participating and by watching fellow club members. Learning comes from preparing and presenting speeches based on the projects in the manual. We are a nonprofit, so you can come to our meetings for free, and if you decide to join, the membership is not expensive.
