An aspiring mid-western actor, stuck in a post-college job as a parking lot attendant, flips over the brilliant confessional monologues of Spalding Gray. So deep is Gray’s influence on the young man that he sets off on a cross-country quest – by way of Washington, DC – to meet his unsuspecting hero. But things never go quite like we plan, do they?
