Luminary French pianist Hélène Grimaud returns to Meany Hall after a decade of appearing in recitals and as soloist with the world’s leading venues and orchestras. A deeply charismatic, expressive and intelligent performer, Grimaud is one of Deutsche Grammophon’s most imaginative recording artists with a string of highly successful discs. Recipient of numerous awards, she has been appointed “Officier dans l’ordre des Arts et des Lettres” by the French Ministère de la Culture and “Chevalier dans l’Ordre National du Mérite.” Presented as part of the inaugural France@Seattle Cultural Season.
