Helen Sung's "ReConception Project +2" July 14, 2011

Pianist/Composer Helen Sung explores a wider palette with her "ReConception Project + 2" at the Village mainstay Smalls Jazz Club.

Fresh off a trio performance earlier in the day at the Newark (NJ) Museum's Summer "Jazz in the Garden" Series, she will be joined at Smalls by a pair of fantastic saxophonists: Donny McCaslin and Yosvany Terry (who is also known for his virtuoso work on the shekere).

It promises to be an exciting, adventurous night of music!
