Hebrew School + Joemca & the Poets + Wailing Wall January 8, 2009

I'd like to warmly invite you to see my new band, Hebrew School, perform live at Brooklyn's venerated Union Hall on January 8. The show is a culmination of 18 months of research, creation, deconstruction and mischief. I'll be joined on stage by four truly gifted musicians, hailing from bands such as Golem, J.A.C.K., and Las Rubias del Norte.

Fresh from the recording studio and in anticipation of our spring CD release, we will get you schooled: Think soft-psych interpretation of ritual, atheist rant, the renewal and failure of culture, quasi-biblical meditations on violence, and fragmented prayer. Oh, and sappy love songs.
