Not content with just being a standup comedian, Heather McDonald also has built a writing, acting, performing, and producing career to make any Comedy Store regular jealous. Heather is a full-time writer and story producer on E!’s top rated show Chelsea Lately. She can be seen weekly on the roundtable or performing in comedy sketches where she is known for impersonating celebrities such as Drew Barrymore, Kim Cattrall, Lauren Conrad, Amy Winehouse, Marlee Matlin, Celine Dion, Cher, The Kardashians, The Octomom, Sarah Palin, Ali Lohan, Miley Cyrus, Jen Aniston, Renée Zellweger, Geri Jewell, and various Real Housewives. She recently created and co-hosted a pilot for E! with fellow Chelsea ‘regular’ Ross Mathews entitled Love or Hate, and can be seen in the ‘mockumentary-style’ series After Lately, which premiered March 2011 and chronicles the shenanigans of the Chelsea Lately cast and crew. Heather is also a best-selling author: her debut book, You’ll Never Blue Ball in this Town Again, spent seven weeks on the New York Times best-seller list, and climbed to the #1 position on Amazon’s “Bestsellers in Entertainment” list. As a comedian, Heather has performed alongside Chelsea Handler in sold-out venues around the country. These 2000-4000 seat theaters have included Carnegie Hall, The Borgata in Atlantic City, The Pearl in the Palms Casino, Treasure Island, Route 66 Casino and The Wiltern in Los Angeles, just to name a few. A headliner in her own right, Heather plays to sold-out crowds in San Francisco, Chicago, Dallas, Las Vegas, Atlanta, and more. Heather is also a regular collaborator with the Wayans Brothers. She was as a writer for both White Chicks and Dance Flick. She has also been a writer/performer on MTV’s Lyricist Lounge and has appeared on the hit television shows Frasier, Malcolm in the Middle, Reno 911, Drake and Josh, Quintuplets and Watching Ellie. She has been writing for Us Weekly’s “Fashion Police” for 8 years. Heather was a member of The Groundlings Theater where she performed in the Sunday Company for two years. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California. Heather has been married to her husband Peter for 9 years and they have 3 children. They reside in the San Fernando Valley next door to her parents, just in case they run out of milk, Chardonnay or need one of her dad’s Vicodin. Visit: http://heathermcdonald.net/
