Who:
New Jersey native Heather Braverman is a rising star in the world of entertainment. Despite her young age, Heather began her career eight years ago at the age of 6starring in the off-Broadway musical, The People Garden, a show about kindergarten students learning life lessons. Since then, Heather has continued to pursue projects in which she plays a positive role model, starring most recently in the role of Samantha in Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life, a film based on a novel for teens by Wendy Mass. Both she and her sister live with life threatening food allergies and thus Heather dedicates herself to increasing awareness of food allergies on the national scale. Heather is a teen spokesperson for the Food Allergy Initiative and has participated in the Walk for FAAN (Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network) and was a featured speaker at the FAAN Teen Summit in Washington D.C.
What:
Heather will speak to teens about “Managing Food Allergies in the Work Place”. As an actor and entertainer, Heather has much toshare about her experiences on set and working with those around her to helpmanage her food allergies.
