Heart to Heart Benefit With Diana Ross September 21, 2010

A benefit concert from a legendary performer will wrap up an historic day for Kettering Cardiovascular Services. Hours after Kettering Medical Center officials dedicate the new Benjamin and Marian Schuster Heart Hospital, Diana Ross will be the featured artist for this year's Heart To Heart benefit. Diana Ross has had a profound influence on American popular culture and has become an icon in the entertainment industry. She is an Academy Award nominated actress for her unforgettable role as Billie Holiday in 'Lady Sings The Blues,' a Tony and Golden Globe winner, a bestselling author, winner of 8 American Music Awards and a recipient of The Kennedy Center Honors. The legendary icon will perform her greatest hits in a spectacular live show. This is the 22nd year for Heart to Heart, a benefit for Kettering Cardiovascular Services. Funds from the event have financed new equipment, community outreach and continuing medical education. The event has raised more than $3.5 million over the years, featuring such performers as Tony Bennett, Olivia Newton-John, Willie Nelson, Michael McDonald and Carole King.
