Healing the Sacred Feminine Workshop June 20, 2009

The Sacred Feminine has many faces. She is the Creator Goddess, Divine Mother, Muse, Grace, and Love. She is the voice of our Soul and the longings of our Hearts. In the spirit traditions of our forebears - the Sacred Feminine has always been the equal partner of the Divine Masculine. They knew that all that is Divine is both Feminine and Masculine. You cannot have one without the other! They lived together as One, until we experienced the great wound. I call it the Great Divide. Now, it is time to build a bridge. Healing the wound between the masculine and feminine applies to our men as well. It is not a singular journey, rather a journey that men and women must both take to heal their inner and outer worlds. We are at critical juncture. Recovering the Sacred Feminine is essential to saving ourselves. She must return in full Light and Beauty to earth, especially to the sacred center of women. We must reclaim, accept, and fully assimilate this Divine Light within our body so that we may birth a new world to Life.

In this workshop, we will explore our Sacred heritage, the Feminine mysteries, and remember our spiritual promise. We will first learn how ego dismantled the Truth and our cultures grew imbalanced. From that understanding, we can begin the healing process and the reclaiming of our Divine birthright. In our work together, we will do some healing group work: a reconnection with our female ancestral lineage, a prayer rite to make peace with the angry mother-father archetypes, and a healing of the masculine feminine polarity. These are necessary rites of passage so that we can retrieve and walk in balance with our Power. The Sacred Feminine needs us to be awake! It is time to return to Love.
