Hazrat Mevlana! The Birthday of Rumi!

Thursday, September 30th 8:00PM

‘God is One, the pure, the single Truth’

Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Balkhi, known to the West as Rumi, was born on this day in 1207.

He is the genesis of the Mevlevi, a Sufi sect established Konya, Turkey. He is the author of numerous volumes of poetry originally written in Persian, but is today the most widely translated and read poet in the US. These are not your common “love” poems! Come and join us to listen and read our favorite Rumi poems on this celebration of our beloved mystic, and share your knowledge of the religious mystics of any faith!
