This show is a comedy by Noel Coward set at the lovely country home of the Bliss family. Judith Bliss has pretended to retire from her career on stage. David, her husband, is busy on his novel. They, along with their two children, Sorel and Simon, have each invited someone up for the weekend. But, no one has told anyone else of their plans. The guests have their own agendas. Simon's friend Myra wants to seduce David. Sorel's friend is after Judith. Everyone in the Bliss family finds it easy to be dramatic and that fends off the guests. When they are gone, the family relaxes again and Judith plots her return to the stage.
