September is hawk migration season, and Blueberry Hill, with its 360-degree panorama of rolling mountains and valleys, provides an excellent opportunity to view this annual event. If conditions are right, we should be able to see several species including the red-shouldered hawk, red-tailed hawk, merlin, and northern goshawk, as well as nonraptorial species such as the turkey vulture and common raven. Registration is required. Call 413-584-3009 for details. See http://www.massaudubon.org/catalog/listing.php?program_code=279-AR10SU1 for more information.
